Your work is appreciated.

Thank you again for your interest in the Williamson family. Quite a few are buried in northern Mercer County in Greenville. My cousin, Paul W. Myers has kindly furnished a photo of James Williamson's tombstone on FINDAGRAVE. See: FINDAGRAVE 42566434 - James Williamson (1754-1818) and FINDAGRAVE 46853750 Jane McEwen Williamson. The Bigler cemetery is near Route 18 if you know the area. I suspect you may find that they (James & wife) resided in Lackawannock Township. Mercer County if you elect look into it. Best wishes.

Thank you for your comment about James Williamson being buried in Greenville, PA. I suggest you consider looking at his tombstone. See: FINDAGRAVE 42566434 - James Williamson (1754-1818) and FINDAGRAVE 46853750 Jane McEwen Williamson. While James and wife are buried in different cemeteries in southern Mercer County, the cemeteries are close to their farm - and taht is quite a distance south of Greenville. I suspect you may find that they resided in Lackawannock Township. Mercer County if you elect look into it. Again, THANKS for your in-put.

Hi G! Thanks for your comment. I haven't found any of my Roberson family connected to the eastern NC region. I have traced them to Wilkes County area in 1780-1790s. If I happen to locate any on the Eastern side, I'll definitely let you know. This line is my primary focus now, so I'm hoping to find new information-especially since I just joined WikiTree.

Hello G! John Wiley Woolard's line is not one I am familiar with. One of my Point Lookout POW's is Lupton-462, John D Lupton, who died and was buried there. He is also a lineal descendent of the Jordan line as well.

I have a GGGF who survived being held prisoner there and made it home to NC, but his brother died and is buried there in MD.
