Biography

Alexander was born in 1798. He was the son of James Parot Wilson and Wilson Mounts. Alexander married Sally Ball on 22 August 1822 in Cabell County, West Virginia.[1]

In the 1850 census, Alexander (age 50) was in Trouts Hill, Wayne, Virginia, United States.[2]

Helped orchestrate Stock fund raising for a railroad down the Big Sandy from Cassville (Fort Gay). It never made it until the 1900s. He was on the Wayne, Virginia (West Virginia) school board 1856.
