Elizabeth Ogilvie Wilson was born at Flemington, Victoria on the 16th of December 1907. She was the daughter of Richard Wilson and Annie Ogilvie.[1][2]
She married librarian Harold Leslie White at Queen’s College, Carlton, Victoria, on the 18th of October 1930. At that time she was working as a teacher.[3][4] They had four children: David, Judith, John, and Katharine.[2]
Elizabeth White was dedicated to public service, and in 1962 received an MBE for services to the elderly.[5][2]
She passed away in Canberra on the 18th of June, 1988.[2]
