Thank you for aal the great work you have done in the Wikitree system.
We are trying to add Lydia Steele to the family tree and the system indicated you are the owner of the Bird/Rebecca marriage.
We are descendants of James Bird and Lydia Steele and not "Rebecca ?".
Unfortunately, the system does not appear to allow us to add Lydia Steele to our family tree.
What are your thoughts?
All the best.
Jay Morgan
Here is the Wiki link to James Bird with the two spouses
https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Bird-22
There are two historical documents, the Steele Family History and Beekman Patent that indicates the spouse of James Bird (1631) is Lydia Steel and NOT "Rebecca ?". Have you seen these documents? How can I share them with you? What are your thoughts? All the best. Jay Morgan
Thanks for creating pre-1700 profile Andrew Peterson (abt.1683-abt.1741).
Please provide at least a birth or death location estimate rather than leaving both locations blank. This helps disambiguate people since we have a global tree, locations help distinguish one profile of the same name from another. Even an estimate such as a continent, e.g., Europe or North America, is better than blank. Please read more here. Please explain the rationale for your estimate in a = = Research Notes = = section.
In the case of Andrew, Delaware appears to be a reasonable estimate for death location given his burial is there.

The United Kingdom Project has not been active since 2018 and we are now completely closing it down. We are removing all UK project badges. If you still have an interest in the UK and have not already joined another project, then you will need to join the England, Ireland, Scotland or Wales Project by answering one or more of their G2G posts. If your interest is in the British Isles and British Crown Dependencies and Overseas Territories, then please contact me directly.
Regards Joan
We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.
Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please dont assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.
Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.
Many thanks,
Susie
Would you like to be seen on WikiTree as one of the "go-to" people for your Mayflower ancestor, Thomas Rogers? The Mayflower Project would like to involve you in a new effort to update Mayflower profiles and establish Mayflower passenger "Teams", beginning with the Rogers family.
Goal: Every project profile will have an accurate, written biography, with inline citations, using primary sources and reliable secondary sources.
I hope that you will be eager to contribute towards this goal starting with the family of your ancestor, Thomas Rogers. Please send me a private message and let me know your thoughts? Once I know you are interested in helping, I will send you an invitation to join the Mayflower Google group. When you accept the invitation, we will be on our way.
I see your profile doesnt include a mayflower G2G Tag. See Followed Tags above. You should have the tag - mayflower -so you can follow pertinent Mayflower activities on G2G. When you add the tag, please include the names of passengers in whom you are interested. Thank you
Anne B. Leader Mayflower Project.

Im the new Project Coordinator for the England Project. I am contacting you, as there have been some recent changes to the project which we are keen to bring to your attention. Please look at the England Project page for more information on the changes and the ways members are able to actively contribute moving forward. Once you have considered how you would like to participate, please contact either myself or Susie to let us know. We can then list your involvement, help you join the Google group forum for England, and give you any other help you may need to get going. If we dont hear back from you well assume you do not wish to be a part of the England Project for the time being. We really hope you will join the team! Gillian
With respect to Elizabeth Flourney, the reverences claim that Alexander Baker married Elizabeth Ann Flourney. One of the merge candidates is "Flourney", the other "Unknown", So it seems to me that the "best" LNAB would be Flourney.
Thanks again for joining, enjoy and good luck with your research. Maria
