Virginia was born sometime around 1818-1840 in South Carolina; records vary considerably as to birth year.
In the 1870 census Jenniy (age 39) was in Precinct 1, Guadalupe, Texas living with likely son William and his family.[1]
In the 1900 census Virginia was the widowed grandmother of Chas Garner [his wife's] in San Antonio Ward 7, Bexar, Texas. Her age was not listed.[2]
In the 1910 census Jennie (age 92) was the widowed grandmother of Ida May Garner in San Antonio Ward 6, Bexar, Texas, United States.[3]
In the 1920 census Jennie (age 80) was the widowed grandmother of Oliver Fitzgerald [wife's grandmother] in San Antonio Ward 6, Bexar, Texas.[4]
