Biography
Robert R. Williams was born about 1869 in Wales and immigrated to Canada in 1905.[1] He married Emma Louise James 20 December 1911 in Wood River, Alberta. [2][3]
Robert and Emma settled on Section 7, Township 43, Range 23, West of the 4th. They are listed there in the 1916 Census with their son, Robert James.[1] and again in 1921.[4] Their son, Robert James lived only 8 years, dying of diptheria in 1921.[2] In the 1926 Census, Robert and Emma are listed with no children.[5]
Robert passed away 5 March 1929 in Ponoka, Alberta[6] He is buried in the Forest Home Cemetery in Ponoka.[7]
