Biography
Robert Holland Williams Sr homesteaded 160 acres in Ashley County Arkansas in 1860. He moved there in 1861 with his wife Nancy Sisk Williams and children Maggie and Alexander. Nancy died in 1863 and was buried in the Williams Cemetery on their property. On October 15, 1865 Robert married Sintha Lucindy Sisk Neal, the widow of John Neal who died in 1862 while serving in the Confederacy in the Civil War. Sintha Lucindy Sisk Neal had three Neal children, W T, John P, and Matury Jane. Robert Sr had two children from his marriage to Nancy Sisk Williams, Maggie and Alexander. Together, Robert Sr and Lucindy had two more children, Andrew and Robert Holland Jr. Robert Holland Jr was actually born shortly after his father, Robert Holland Sr's, death in 1871. Robert Williams Sr, Sintha Lucindy Sisk Neal Williams, and Alexander Williams are all buried in the Williams Cemetery. There are Maxwells, Farrars, and Williams kin buried in the Williams Cemetery., Ashley County, AR
