  • 1803, teaching at a Boston school for African-American students

  • 1803-4, studied theology for 6 weeks with Rev Dr Nathanael Emmons in Franklin, Mass
  • 1806, supplied pulpit in Branford Congregational Church
  • 1807-16, supplied Pacific Congregational Church in Providence
  • 1816-21, pastor in Foxborough
  • 1823-7, pastor at Attleboro
  • 1827-30, pastor at Hebronville, Mass
  • 1830-5, preached at different churches in RI
  • 1835-38, pastor at Barrington
  • 1839-40, resided in Hartford
