Sadie Marie Walker was born on 5 Jan 1922 in Clifton District, Alleghany, Virginia, United States to the parents of Henry Taylor Walker and Viola Tilda (Bocook) Walker.

Two years later, her father died^[1]

In 1930, Sadie was eight (8) years old living in her mother's household in Clifton, Alleghany, Virginia, United States.^[2]

On 18 Oct 1937, Sadie being only fifteen (15) marries twenty-seven (27) year old Melvin Lay Emerson in Louise, Virginia, United States.^[3]

They did have one (1) child, Gordon Ray Emerson. per marriage certificate.^[4]

It isn't known if Sadie & Melvin divorced or if Melvin died, but, by 1950, Sadie married Stanley L Johnson in Lawrence, Ohio, United States.^[5] Then, on 20 Jun 1959, Sadie married again. The lucky fellow was William Vernon Robinson. They married in Clifton Forge, Virginia, United States.^[6]

On 21 May 1975, Sadie passed away at age fifty-three (53) in Clifton Forge, Virginia, United States. On the death certificate, it states Sadie was widowed twice.^[7]

She is buried in Central Advent Christian Church Cemetery, Clifton Forge, Alleghany County, Virginia, USA.^[8]
