Edward was baptised on 18th September 1808 at St Peter and St Paul, Hanborough.[1] He was the son of Samuel Walker and Sarah Langstone.
Edward Walker and Maria Tocock were married after banns at St Peter and St Paul, Hanborough, on 6th November 1836.[2] They were bachelor and spinster and both of the parish. Neither could write so they both made their mark on the register with a cross and the witnesses to the marriage were John Hathaway and Elizabeth Walker.
