Louis's parents were James David Todd and Susan Schick, and his siblings were Ada L. Todd, Helen A. Todd, Mary Todd, James Dallas Todd, Susan Eveline Todd, Louisa Todd, Jennie Todd, Edward D. Todd and Victoria Alice Todd .
