Lancelot Edward Threlkeld was born on the 20th of October 1788, at Southwark, London, England, the son of Mary Threlkeld and Samuel Joseph Threlkeld.[1]
He was a missionary.[1]
He married Matha Goss in 1808 at St George's Church, Southwark.[1] They had five children.[1]
Martha died in 1824.[1]
Lancelot remarried on the 20th of October 1824, at St, John's, Parramatta, to Sarah Arndell.[2]They had five children.[1]
Lancelot Threlkeld wrote several books on Australian Indigenous languages, and also reported on their treatment, and several massacres, including Waterloo Creek in his annual reports.[3]
Lancelot died on the 10th of October 1859 at Sydney, Colony of New South Wales, Australia.[4]
