I was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and have deep New England roots. A full-time nurse, I spend my spare time working on my genealogy and my other love, writing. I am a published author and genealogy blogger. A Veteran, I proudly served eight years in the United States Air Force. I am a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
I have two blogs: The Family Connection at www.jeaniesgenealogy.com which focuses on New England and my New England roots with a bit of other stuff thrown in. My second blog is called Indian Reservations at www.indianreservations.net which is about mythical Native Americans.
The culmination of my love of history, genealogy and writing has resulted in two works of historical fiction:
WEAVE A WEB OF WITCHCRAFT : [1] This book tells the story of Hugh Parsons and his wife Mary Lewis Parsons of Springfield, Massachusetts. Theirs is a tragic story of accusations, witchcraft and murder.
and BLOOD IN THE VALLEY: This is the story of Catherine Wasson Clyde and her husband Samuel Clyde Catherine and her family left New Hampshire for the Colony of New York, they settled in Schenectady just prior to the outbreak of the last French and Indian War. Catherine and Samuel settle in idyllic Cherry Valley but their peaceful life was soon disrupted by the American Revolution.
