Biography
Jefferson Thompson is a part of US Black heritage.
Jefferson was born before 1855, based on his enslaver's inventory probated in 1855. His last name at birth is as yet unknown, so his enslaver's surname of Thompson is being used temporarily.
He was a slave of Noah L Thompson (abt.1811-abt.1854) in Leon County, Florida. He was listed on his probate inventory on 3 Feb 1855 as being valued at $1200.[1]
When William Davis died, his probated inventory included the slaves who previously belonged to Noah Thompson. They were listed on April 6, 1855 in Davis' probate record.[2]
