When Eleanor Thompson was born in 1738 in Beetham, Westmorland, England, her father, James, was 28. She had two children with William Sweet. She then married Thomas Thompson and they had five children together.
She died in 1775 at the age of 37, and was buried in Penrith, Cumberland, England.
