Sophie was born on July 4, 1845, and baptized the next day, as recorded in the St-Basile church register. Parents listed as Hilaire Terriau and Salome Levasseur. Godparents were Theodore Levasseur and Marie Anne Thibodeau.

Sophie and Dolphee were married on November 19, 1867, as recorded in the Barachois church register. Bride's parents were Hilaire Terriot and Salome Lassoeur (Levasseur) from Shediac. Groom's parents were Raphael LeBlanc and Julie Cassey also from Shediac. Witnesses were Edouard Fauster, Henriette LeBlanc along with the spouses' fathers Raphael LeBlanc and Hilaire Terriot.
