She married Robert Henry Kinder on 19 October 1948, in Smyth, Virginia, United States.[3]
They were the parents of at least 1 daughter.[4]
In 1952 , her daughter, Wanda Sue Kinder, died of food poisoning or dehydration after two (2) months of life.[5]
In 1968, Lois divorced her husband, Robert, in Tazewell, Virginia, United States.[6]
