Biography
Andrew Taylor was born in Appalachia, in Tennessee.
Archibald Taylor married 5 March, 1827 to Margaret Looney, daughter of Samuel and Sarah (Childress) Looney. Archibald and his family moved to Bradley County, Tennessee, where he died between 1850 and 1860. [1] Wilma McKinney shows the marriage took place 4 March, 1827.[2]
Was his death between 1850 and 1860 an assumption since he wasn't listed in the 1860 census? Carole shows his death as 08 Oct 1870 in Saline Co. Arkansas and states the date is proven by a will.[3]
