Biography

Hannah was born 26 Mar 1836 in Sterling, Whiteside County, Illinois.

In 1850 she was living in Whiteside, Illinois.[1] The household included James Talbott 49, Sarah Talbott 44, John Talbott 19, Oliver Talbott 15, Hannah A Talbott 13, Martha Talbott 11, Annett Talbott 9, James Talbott 7, and Samuel Talbott 3. James was a farmer. John and Oliver were working on the farm.

Aaron Doty and Hannah Amanda Talbott were married 6 Mar 1860 in Whiteside, Illinois.[2]

In 1860 she was living in Jackson Township, Butler, Iowa.[3] The household included Aaron Doty 24 and Hannah Doty 24. Aaron was a farmer.

In 1870 she was living in Jordan Township, Whiteside, Illinois.[4] The household included Aaron Doty 34, Hannah Doty 34, Nettie Doty 7, Ettie Doty 5 and James Doty 2.

In 1880 she was living in Jackson, Butler, Iowa.[5] The household included Aaron Doty 44, wife Hannah A Doty 44, daughter Sarah N Doty 16, daughter Martha E Doty 14, son James T Doty 11, and Henry Desreay 22. Aaron was a farmer. Henry was a farm laborer.

In 1900 she was living in Kimball city, Brule, South Dakota.[6] The household included Aaron Doty 64, wife Hannah A Doty 64 and son James T Doty 32. Aaron and Hannah had been married 40 years. Hannah was the mother of 7 children, 3 living. Aaron was retired. James was single and was a laborer.

In 1905 she was living in Kimball, Boule County, South Dakota.[7]

She died 21 Apr 1908 in Brule County, South Dakota.[8] and is buried in Lynwood Cemetery, Clarksville, Butler County, Iowa.[9]
