I'm researching my Swales ancestors with Hannibal Swales c1750 - 1845 m Hannah Hall being my direct 5th great-grandfather, (Hannibal, Francis 1783, James 1817, John 1854, Henry 1879, Henry 1908, Dad, Me). Also all the intricate family connections and inter-connections of travelling families related to the Swales including Stephensons, Burnside, Morrisons, Cunningham, Winter, Forrest and more.

Areas covered include Westmorland, Cumberland, Lancashire, Yorkshire, Durham, Northumberland, and the border with Scotland. Hey Karen - glad you messaged! Seems there is a lot to learn and it is going to take me a while! Thanks for the link - I already need help as got stuck with adding an ancestor who already exists but I want to make sure the information is correct first before I connect to him.
