Obituary - Death Of Mrs. Lucy Morice Mrs. Lucy Morlce, MBE, who died at North Adelaide on Sunday, aged 92, was the first onganising secretary of the Kindergarten movement in SA, founded in 1905. Her name is perpetuated In the Lucy Morlce Kindergarten, now 24 years old. Mrs. Morlce was also associated with early work in SA for infant and maternal welfare as first president of the School for Mothers which was the forerunner of the Mothers and Babies' Health Association. ^[2]
