- William Bonney - was known as Billy the Kid, he was an outlaw and gunman in the old west. According to legend, he killed 21 men, but it is believed that he killed 8 people.
- Lizzie Borden - was tried and acquitted for the 1892 axe murders of her father and stepmother in Fall River, Massachusetts. But it is thought by many that Lizzie was the one that killed her father and Stepmother
- William Doolin - William "Bill" Doolin was the Founder of the Wild Bunch and an Outlaw Gang who robbed banks, trains and stagecoaches in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Kansas during the 1890s.
- Daniel East - murdered his 2 young children in 1877 ,he was committed to the Broadmoor Asylum for the Criminally Insane, in Berkshire, England where on 1 June 1911, aged 66, he died.
- Amelia Dyer - Amelia Dyer was the most prolific baby farm murderer of Victorian England. She was tried and hanged for one murder, but there is little doubt she was responsible for many more similar deaths—possibly 400 or more—over a period of perhaps twenty years
- Robert Ford - was an American outlaw best known for killing his gang leader, Jesse James, in 1882.
- Jesse James - was an American outlaw, gang leader, bank robber, train robber, and murderer from the state of Missouri and the most famous member of the James-Younger Gang.
- Edward Kelly - Ned was Australia's most famous Bushranger Some might consider him to be nothing but a murderous outlaw, while others think of him as a folk hero and Australia's Robin Hood.Ned Kelly was hanged at the Melbourne gaol on 11 November 1880 he met his end without fear his last words were 'Ah well, I suppose it has come to this', and by another version, 'Such is life'.
- Martha Curnutt - Martha was convicted of 1st degree Manslaughter after murdering her abusive husband with an ax in his sleep. (Ancestor of noted actress Cynthia Nixon and the main focus of her episode of Who Do You Think You Are (US) Season 5 Episode 1).
