I would like the manager of this site to take down any reference to a Smithers or Smothers being married to Mary Anne Browne of Dumfriesshire. That is totally bogus. She was married to Sir James Grierson and no other.

Smothers-297 and Smithers-112 appear to represent the same person because: These are a clear exact duplicate. Unless there is a document showing Thomas went by the name of Smothers, his LNAB would be Smithers-112 which is the same last name as his father. Thanks!
