Henry died in 1928. I have not located Lina on the 1930 or 1940. She does not appear with the families of any of her children.
I have tidbits that appear to show that Lina stayed in Lyon County beyond the 1920 census, such as:
Luther Frost visited Sunday and Monday with his aunt, Mrs. Frank Jaquith, and his uncle, Sir. T. B. Frost. Clarence Scranton, of Independence, visited with Mrs. Scranton's parents, Mr .and Mrs. Henry Sotow, last week. June 4, 1927, The Emporia Gazette from Emporia, Kansas · Page 11[7]
Miss Helen Frost spent the Fourth with Miss Ryman, who lives In Lawrence. Mrs. John Sotow, of El Monte Calif., is visiting Mrs. Lina Sotow. Mr. and Mrs. Prod Saffer, of district 117, and Mr. and Mrs Wayne Saffer, of Emporia, visited the Earl Stonebraker and Mattie Jaquith homes Sunday. July 9, 1936, The Emporia Gazette from Emporia, Kansas · Page 11[8]
Some on-line references give her death in Independence, Montgomery, Kansas -which would put her in the home of her daughter Mary and her husband Clarence Scranton. I have not found an absolute reference and have left it simply as 'Kansas' until more accurate information is found.
