John Shay was born about 1854 in Ireland.[1]
In 1880, John was living in Pendleton, Kentucky. [2]
His son was Edward Emmitt Shay (1881–1933).
In 1900, John was living in Cleveland Ward 34, Cuyahoga, Ohio. [3]
John died on June 25, 1918 in Cuyahoga, United States, aged about 63. He was buried in Lake View Cemetery, Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.[4] [1]
