William G. Shaver was born on June 17, 1794, in Knowlton, Sussex County, New Jersey, USA. He was the son of Philip Shaver and Mary Ann (Wickizer) Shaver.
By 1830, William had relocated to Dallas Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, where he likely established his home and livelihood.
Tragically, William's life came to an end on September 20, 1852, while still residing in Dallas Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. He was laid to rest at Shaver Cemetery in Dallas, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, where he found his final resting place amidst the serene landscapes of his adopted homeland.
