Helen was born in Paisley, Renfrewshire in 1921. She was the daughter of William Scobie and Janet Irvine.[1]
Helen was a threadmill worker and a first aid party member during WW2. She died on 6 May 1941 when the Woodside First Aid Post in Paisley was struck by a parachute bomb.[2][3]
