Today you deleted a biography (admittedly not a good one) with the words "He is buried in Port Pirie Cemetery with his wife."

The England Project have detached Thomas as a son from William (and have project protected William to prevent reattachment), but we would be very grateful if you would go back add a reliable source rather than The Peerage which is fantasy genealogy and completely unreliable.
Many thanks, Jo, England Project Managed Profiles team coordinator
I noticed you have created some Pre-1700 profiles. Trees and profiles from FamilySearch, Ancestry, Geni, etc.. are not acceptable sources for these profiles. Many times, sources can be found within the trees and profiles, and those are what should be used. Here is the link to the Pre-1700 Quiz for you to review. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1700_Profiles This is the link to the England Project's sourcing guidelines as well. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:England_Project_Reliable_Sources
If you have questions, please ask. Thanks!

I am a descendant of a Jane Waller, from Limerick who married a wealthy 'Gentleman', John Samuel Taverner. Her daughter was Henrietta Waller Taverner born circa 1732; whose first husband was a Maunsell (Richard, I believe) He died after a very short and childless marriage. I know that he was involved with Maunsell's Bank in Limerick. I noticed that you had similar family names in your ancestory, so wondered if there is a link somewhere? My Dad has all of our records, so sorry about the vagueness. I can get them back so I can confirm dates, etc. We have lots of information on the Taverner side, but cannot find Jane.
William McKay born 11 September 1874 to James and Mary Ann McKay nee Moon at Fremantle, Western Australia, passed away 27 June 1942 at Pinjarrah Western Australia. William is my Grandfather, His first wife Amelia Rachel Turner, mother of his first four children, my Grandmother. Second wife is Mother of his twins Rose Gannon nee Herbert. Wife three Ethel Mead nee Newman they had three Children. Yours sincerely, Daisy Rachel Craigie

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or special event. Read the goals and tasks of the project and join if it is a good fit.
Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

I see you are working on merges. Please review our Matching and Merging FAQ to understand your responsibilities in doing merges.
During a merge, the text from the merged-away profile is appended to the end of the text of the merged-into profile. After a merge, you will need to clean up the text by removing duplicate information and consolidating what is left leaving the profile with a single Biography section and a single Sources section.
The Help page on Biographies has a lot of great information on what to include and what to omit in a Biography.

I'm interested to see the activity on the Mongers of Australia, specifically WA. I am a Monger myself, having emigrated from England to South Africa in 1947. Both children and 4 grandchildren now live back in England. I hadn't realised that there was such a large Contingent of Mongers in WA. Regards, Alan Monger
