Marina was born in 1934. She was the daughter of Edward Sainsbury and Ethelinda Dawe. She passed away in 2017.
SAINSBURY, MARINA — It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marina Sainsbury announces her passing in her 83rd year after a lengthy illness at the Lewisporte Health Centre (North Haven Manor) on January 28 2017. She was predeceased by her parents Edward B. Sainsbury and Ethel Dawe Sainsbury, and her brother Edward D. Sainsbury. She leaves to mourn her sister Annie Kelly (Bob) & niece Susan Kelly of London, ON., niece Maureen Collier (Dean) of Lower Sackville, NS., nephew David Sainsbury (Evelyn) of Wesleyville, NL., niece Kathryn Robertson (Fred) of Stephenville, NL., sister-in-law Hazel Sainsbury of Lakeside Homes, Gander, NL as well as a circle of relatives and friends. Marina was a graduate of the Grace Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1962 and nursed in Burlington, ON. and a number of Hospitals in Newfoundland. Funeral service took place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on January 31, 2017 at 10 A.M. with Rev. Lorne Bungay officiating. Interment followed at The Old united Church Cemetery, Wesleyville.
