Lee, I noticed you have added a line of Luthers into the database, which unfortunately are already in the database. These will all have to be merged into the existing profiles. This Captain John Luther is also a protected profile. Is this something (merging) that you can fix on your own or do you need some help?
Thanks for all your work on WikiTree. I noticed that you have begun adding profiles for the pre-1700 ancestors you have found in your search. Congratulations on finding records back that far!
I noticed that you are using "Luther Family History by George A Luther 2001" as the citation for pre-1700 profiles. Since the book has over 1200 pages, it is important to include which page you found the data on. The book title is apparently much longer. Here is what WorldCat.org suggests:
Luther, Leslie L., George A. Luther, and Leslie L. Luther. 2001. The Luther genealogy: a history of the descendants of Captain John Luther who arrived in the Massachusetts Bay Colony, 1630-1635 (Lakeland, FL : G.A. Luther), page ?
Since you are now back in the time period where many people can be descended from those ancestors, we need more details in your source area. As collaborative genealogists, we need to tell each other our sources so that we can work together to assess the relative reliability of the source and the evidence it contains.
Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles!
It’s very important to read and understand https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1700_Profiles. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many WikiTree members, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines laid out on that page.
You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree.

Hi! I see you have uploaded your DNA for comparison. Did you know we have a project for DNA where a lot of great new things are happening? If you are interested and would like to check it out, go to the FIND link top right of your profile page, select PROJECTS from the drop down box, and then select the link for the DNA project. It has information listed that might be of interest to you, and feel free to contact any of the members if you would like additional details.

We're looking for reliable sources to add to the various lists. Is the book sourced so that it can be considered a reliable source?
Thanks,
