Biography
Father of noted actor Geoffrey Rush[1][2][3]
Roy Baden Rush was born in Towoomba, Queensland, on 9 Feb 1928. He was the son of Baden Charles Rush and Agnes May White.
His first wife was Merle Bischof. They married on 21 February 1948 [4] and divorced in about 1956.[3])
He served in the RAAF, firstly as a Flight Lieutenant, then as an accountant. He also served in Vietnam.
He married Yvonne Agnes McAlister at Katoomba, NSW, in 1960.[5]
He died at Gympie, NSW, on the 20th of June, 2012, aged 84,[6] and was interred in the Gympie Cemetery.[7]
