Biography

Mutineer on the "Bounty" murdered by John Adams and Edward Young at Adams house, because of threats by Matthew Quintal:^[1]

Matthew Quintal having threatened to take the life of Young and Adams and having made an attempt and was foiled Adams and Young having no doubt he would follow his resolution came to the conclusion that their own lives were not safe while he was in existence and that they were justified in putting him to death which they did with an axe.^[1]
