Hannah Margerita Penn was born at Bristol, England on July 30, 1703, the daughter of William Penn and Hannah (Callowhill) Penn.[1]
On 27 August 1703 her father wrote in a letter, "I came from Bristol three weeks ago, and was there but about fourteen or sixteen days, on occasion of my wife’s lying in, who this day month [ie four weeks ago] was brought to bed of a daughter, whom we call Hannah Margarita."[2] In her Quaker birth record the middle name is spelt Margerita.[1]
She died on 7 February 1707 at Bristol and was buried there on 9 February.[3]
