You changed the death date of Geneviève Hébert (1727-aft.1779) but I don't see any sources to support that.

Could you please provide a source, such as her presence at a baptism or marriage in 1779?

Otherwise, please undo your change.

When adding places in Canada, for most locations, you should use the country name (Canada) after 1867 for at least Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec and Ontario. And more or less the rest of Canada was Confederated by 1870 (except Newfoundland).

Hi, R, a curious thing happened yesterday. Our activity feed says you added an unrelated person to Amable Doucet.

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Doucet-1192 I've never seen this before about an unrelated person, plus I can't imagine how one would add an unrelated person. There might be a system thing going on and I hope you might shed some light on it. Do you recall who you added to Amable? I might want someone from the tech side to explain that message. Nothing wrong on your side, just trying to understand this situation. Thank you! Cindy Cooper, co-leader, Acadians Project

R, recently you added several new profiles using only geni.com for a "source". The information in those seems very doubtful, with one being a gap of 15 years between children and mother age 45. We would greatly appreciate your providing stronger documentation with original sources. Please see the Reliable Sources page for many options.

R, I see you removed some sourced information from Babin-1484. Was there a reason you found this information to be false? Could you provide some background please? Thank you, Cindy Acadian Project Coordinator.

Hi there! I added the parents of Margaret King, whose profile you manage. She is in my direct maternal line and I have been researching her background. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

Hi

Wish you a Happy New Year. May 2018 bring you all you need to be happy.

Congratulation for adding your contributions in December. Whatever the quantity of your contributions, they all count. As I always say "Quality is better than quantity" to make a great family tree.

Thank you for being a Wikitreer,

Guy Constantineau - Wikitree leader

Hi, I approved the merge of Lejeune-336 (L) and Lejeune-181 (R), but there are problems with all the wives and both the profiles are project protected so it will require a leader to unprotect one of the profiles for the merge to be completed. It also appears one of Pierre's children has been duplicated. I don't know enough about this family to feel confident in working on the profile. It might be better to make an unmerged match and put it on GtoG for comment. What do you think?

Hi, you updated Marie Aubois's profile to add that she was Mi’kmaq. It's a good possibility but there is no evidence of that. All we have is that she was "Sauvagesse de l'Acadie".

Hi, the changed links in the Bios of Jean Roy and Marie "Aubois" are not working.

Hache-47 and Hache Gallant-58 appear to represent the same person because: Same person. Hi, which way do you propose the merge goes?

Hi R. I notice you changed the first name for Corkum-15. Can you add your source for that? Thanks!

Hi again!

I’m glad you found us. I just confirmed you as a member (once you sign the Honor Code, you’ll be a full member – aka a Wiki Genealogist). An important aspect of WikiTree is providing sources for information (even if it’s just "Aunt Louisa told me in 1984...") – my profile page has a link to Sources Resources, where I’ve tried to provide an overview of source information.

Give G2G or me a holler if you get stuck on anything, and thank you for joining our collaborative tree. Remember that our mission is to build a global tree with just one profile per person, so please look for duplicates before adding a profile.

Enjoy!
