Biography
Edith R. Morden was born in about 1870[1][2] in Brighton Township, Northumberland County, Ontario, Canada,[3] where she grew up with her parents, farmer Monroe Morden and his wife Drucilla, and her several siblings.[1][2] She married farmer John Francis Ireland (1858-1948) on June 29, 1892 in neighbouring Murray Township.[3] They had a son, Alfred Moran Ireland (b. 1893).[4]
Edith had presumably died by 1903 as John was remarried in that year.[5]
