Biography
William was born in Paisley, Renfrewshire in 1903. He was the son of Alexander Mitchell and Isabella Robertson.[1]
He married Margaret Ronald Young in Paisley in 1935.[2]
William was a boilermaker and a first aid worker during WW2. He was died on 6 May 1941 when the Woodside First Aid Post in Paisley was struck by a parachute bomb.[3][4]
