John was born on 5 July 1912 in Kent, England. He was the son of Osmond Charles Millen and Millicent Balls. Adisham Court, Adisham^[1][2]

John departed London and arrived in Albany on 6 March 1926.^[3]

In 1954 John (age about 41) was living in Dandenong, La Trobe, Victoria, Australia.^[4]

John died at the age of about 64 in 1977 in Burwood, Melbourne, Australia.^[5]
