Biography
He became a Lieutenant before 1758.
John Meacham married Rachel (Kibbe) Bush on April 19, 1758 at Enfield. [1]
He died on July 28, 1765 at Enfield,.[2] and is buried there.[3] The inscription on his tombstone reads:

- LieuntJohn
- Meacham
- Who died
- July 28th 1765
- In His 84th
- Year.
- Death is a Debt
- to Nature Due
- Which I have Payd
- and so must You

Not to be confused with John Meacham 1675-1761 who married Mary Cash. These are 2 different people.

Can you do me the favor of comparing Meacham-47 with Meacham-1240. These are the two separate John Meachams. Does this allay your concerns?
The merge of Meacham-47 and Meacham-549 needs to happen to Connect Rachel to John in the profile with Prisca.

I posted this to G2G to see if someone from the PGM wants to try to sort it out. I really don't have time right now, I'm at work. However, I'll take a closer look tonight. I do have an idea of what they should look like. The biggest problem is that Meacham-47 bears no relation to the person it was meant to be. I need to get it back to that point. I'll take a look at meacham-1240 when I have a moment.
