Biography

I love find out family members by piecing together the information and find out who they really were.

I feel that the information for each persons life really needs to be recorded because once your gone then it is gone forever.

I have a real passion for find out about our war heroes having lots of family members who have served in the armed forces and fought in the different wars.

My family roots seem to be very European - English, German, Irish, Scottish and recently discovered Jewish.

I am also working on my husbands family who we have been told are related to Ned Kelly which I am still working my way to find.

Hi Sarah,

I'm contacting you for the annual ANZACS Project membership checkin. We really appreciate your involvement in the Project in the last year. Thank you so much for all your help to improve profiles of ANZACs on WikiTree.

Please could you reply to this profile comment, or send me a private message to let me know if you'd like to stay on in the Project, and if so, what ANZACs activity you're planning to work on over the coming year. There are some ideas for activities on this page - Project:Anzacs. You could also add or update your entry on the 'Project Members and what we are doing' heading on that page.

If you've moved on to other things for the moment, that's absolutely fine. We'd appreciate if you'd let us know so that we can remove you as a member of the Project.

The ANZACs Project is a sub-project of the Military and War Project, which has a channel on Discord. If you're not on Discord yet, here's some information - Help:Discord. It's a great way to communicate with other members of the Project and help each other out.

We're always happy to receive any ideas or suggestions that you have to make our project even better.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Gillian ~ ANZACS Project Leader

Hi Sarah - thank you for being a member of the Jewish Roots Project! I wanted to let you know about some new things we have going on.

- You can see new tabs at the top of our home page, where you can select topics to view or work on. You can also use our new maintenance categories - feel free to add them to your own family, or any other Jewish Roots profile, or work on the maintenance yourself, such as adding new records to profiles with only a couple sources.

-You are already in the GoogleGroups email listserv, which we are re-starting this week. We'll probably do most group chat there, but the most important things will be posted on G2G, which you will be notified about if you follow the jewish_roots tag.

-You can also join Wikitree's discord server, where we have a Jewish Roots chat channel.

-If you have ideas or suggestions for the project, feel free to reply here or send me a message.

Thank you! -Elaine, co-leader for Jewish Roots Project

Hi Again Sarah,

I sent you a check-in message ten days ago about the ANZACS Project July check in (subproject of Military and War Project). Although the message asked you about your continued involvement, I have not yet heard back from you. Do you still want to be in the project? If I do not hear from you by the same time next week, I will assume that you've moved on to other things. You are most welcome to re-join the project at any time.by answering the g2g posting.

Best wishes,

Mary~ Project Coordinator, Military and War Project

Hi Mary,

I hadn't really been on Wiki tree in a few years as life had got busy with the kids. I have only just started to get back into adding profiles in the past few weeks. As I am adding new profiles I am finding new ANZACS and will go back and do a more complete profile for each of those profiles when I get a chance. Sorry for the slow delay in answering. My messages for Wiki tree go to an old email which I don't check all time. Kind Regards Sarah

Many thanks,

Sarah thank you for editing some of the Cregoe Shaw lineages. I have been so busy here at home that I have had to put my family history down for a while. Will be back in a few months but wanted to thank you again (((huggs))))
