1850 Guernsey Co. Librty Twp. census says he is age 40, so born about 1810. 1801 birth date calculated from gravestone. Numerals 0 and 9 might be confusable in census script.

His grave is NOT with Catherine's because the IOOF Cemetery was not founded yet when he died. It's in the Bethel Cemetery, north of Shelbyville. Found it 4/2000. I walked right to it, after wandering around a long time finding the cemetery.

Marilyn Lundquist thinks Emmaline McCluskey, who married Samuel Doyle, may be his sister. We both think Charles (b 1803) is Thomas's brother because the 1850 and 1860 census records for the two families are adjacent.

This family migrated to Shelby County, IL, about 1865 with eldest daughter Anna Jarvis and her family. Have not found any death record for Thomas or probate information as of 2/2021.
