Biography
Elizabeth Marden was probably born about 1766-1767 in the area of New Castle, New Hampshire (see Research Notes). She married Abraham Meloon of New Castle on 17 Nov 1783[1]. A "Mrs Elizabeth Meloon" had a death notice published in 25 Feb 1826, which was probably this same Elizabeth[2].
Research Notes
Elizabeth was presumably the woman aged 16-25 years in Abraham's household in 1800[3] and 26-44 years in 1810[4]. Assuming she was at least 16 years old at marriage (m. 17 Nov 1783), this gives a birth range between 1766 and 1767.
