Biography

William Manson is a part of US Black heritage.

William was born about 1869 in Brunswick, Virginia. He was the son of William Manson and Judith Campbell. He grew up in Red Oak, Brunswick County and married Annie Betts Grave in Brunswick County in 1899. They raised a large family while living in Sturgeon, Brunswick County where he was a farmer. He passed away in 1950 in Cochran, Brunswick County, and is buried in Saint James Episcopal Church Cemetery, Warfield, Brunswick County, Virginia.
