Thomas Major is Notable.
Thomas Major was an Australian explorer.
Thomas Major was born about 1842, and baptised on the 17th of July 1842, the son of William Major and Jane Urry.[1]
Arrived Australia 1850's. Owned and managed cattle stations in Qld, NSW and W.A. Part of the Dalrymple expedition to the Burdekin, climbed Mt Elliot. wrote "Leaves from a squatters notebook."
Married Sarah Flynn.[2]
