Thomas Major was born about 1842, and baptised on the 17th of July 1842, the son of William Major and Jane Urry.[1]
Arrived Australia 1850's. Owned and managed cattle stations in Qld, NSW and W.A. Part of the Dalrymple expedition to the Burdekin, climbed Mt Elliot. wrote "Leaves from a squatters notebook."
