Michelle is an American lawyer and politician served as the U.S. representative for New Mexico's 1st congressional district from 2013 to 2019 and currently serves as the 32nd governor of New Mexico since 2019.
Michelle was born 24 Oct 1959, in Los Alamos, New Mexico, and grew up in Santa Fe. She was the daughter of Dr. Llewellyn "Buddy" Lujan, a dentist, and his wife, Sonja. She had one sister who died at age 21.
Michelle married Gregory Alan Grisham in 1982. They had two children. Gary died of a brain aneurysm in 2004. On 21 May 2022, Michelle married Manuel Cordova, owner Southwest Collision Craftsmen, an auto body repair shop in Albuquerque. Vice President Kamala Harris officiated their wedding.
