Seymour, son of Jesse Lockwood and Ann Lawrence, was born on July 3, 1855 in Boston, Erie County, New York.[1][2]
Seymour married Clara Wandel about 1879. The 1880 Federal Census shows both Seymour and Clara in the household of Mary Ann (Lawrence) Lockwood.[3]
Seymour died unexpectedly on July 28, 1892 - he drowned while saving another swimmer at Stoney Point Park on Lake Erie, Buffalo, New York.
