Biography

Harriet was born in 1849. She was the daughter of William Lockwood, a brewer in Woodbridge, Suffolk, England. She attended Ackworth School 'For The Children Of The Society Of Friends Whose Parents Are Not In Affluence'.^[1] Harriet married Octavius Hunt (1847-), match manufacturer and brother in law of her sister Frances Louisa (Lockwood) Hunt in 1877.^[2]
