In 1911, Rubby (age 33), a farm labourer, lived with his wife and children on Bushel Lane, Soham, Cambs, Soham, Cambridgeshire, England.[3]

Private Langley (17261) of 11th Battalion Suffolk Regiment, attached to the Royal Engineers. Died of his wounds on Tuesday, 23rd May 1916.

He was buried in MERICOURT-L'ABBE COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION, Somme, France. Grave I. C. 18.
