Hello Russell, thanks for your message about Eileen Laity. I tried to respond to you by email but it looks like the email couldn't get through to you for some reason.

I don't have a blood relationship with Eileen but she's 7 steps/ degrees away from me through a marriage. I'm working on expanding my tree out by 7 degrees in all directions so I found her while doing this. Eileen's aunt Adelaide McIlwraith (McIlwraith-174 on Wikitree) married my great great uncle Walter Parker. My tree is set to be public so you should be able to see all the details without any further access.

Hopefully the info I've added to Eileen and her husband is correct but do let me know if anything doesn't look right to you.

Best wishes, Helen.

Hi Russell,

Lovely to see you about the internet again. It's been too long!

Have sorted the access to John-Jack's profile for you (at least, if I did it right, I have). If it gives you any hassles, please shout me & we'll sort it.

Are there any others of our mutual lines that you need access to and haven't got? (I have some time this coming weekend and could sort out a batch).

Hi Russell, Thanks for the question

If this person is the ancestor managed by McHugh, I would drop that PM a message saying you erred by adding that information to the wrong person. I would assume you do not realize The setting can be (CHANGES) can be clicked to see if you can find what he had on the profile before you added all of that information. It is possible he can sort it out. ( That is what I would do ) Wikitree discourages creating two profiles for the same person.

Your contributions show Hocking (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Hocking-155).

Russell, Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, thus coordinating with others is essential.

The Czech Roots Project seems to fit your Demuth ancestors. Leader is Michael Miranda. Click the link to read how to join.

Or use the Pre-1700 Projects list, located at the top of your page, 4th topic on right, under <Find> and <Projects>.

For questions, just ask!

Laity-70 and Laity-171 do not represent the same person because: Thomas and Russell are different names, with different dates & family groups.
Laity-70 and Laity-171 appear to represent the same person because: They are from my family tree

Hi Russell

Thank you for your message, I am uncertain why your sent a trusted list request as far as I know our tree has no connection.

It is not advisable to have your email In your biography as this puts your personal details were anyone in the world can see and access it. Please be aware of data protection.

The best way to link to others following the surname is to add a tag to your profile, then those with an interest can contact you either by leaving you a message here on your profile or by private messaging you

Best Wishes Janet
