Mary Josephine "Mary Jo" Kelly was born 29 Oct 1926 in Pleasant Ridge, Michigan. She was the daughter of Edgar Kelly and Ethel English. [1]
1930 U.S. Census Edgar G Kelly (age 35) and his wife Ethel (age 40) are living in Dearborn, Wayne, Michigan with their children: John E (age 4), Mary J (age 3) and James (1 month old). All were born in Michigan. Their house value is $8000. Edgar is the Assistant Superintendent at an auto factory. Also in home is Ethel's sister Mary English (age 31).[2]
1940 U.S. Census Edgar G Kelly (age 45) and his wife Ethel (age 50) are living in Pleasant Ridge, Oakland, Michigan with their children: John E (age 14), Mary J (age 13) and James (age 10). It is the same house as in 1935. All were born in Michigan. The children are all in school. Edgar is a material supervisor for a factory. [3]
