She is the second wife of John Trigg Jessee Esq., whose first wife, Mary Burke died in childbirth after her last child was born, on 16 March 1865, in Union, Tennessee, United States.^[2]

They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 2 daughters.^[3]

In 1850 and 1860, Louisa lived in her parents home with her siblings in Claiborne, Tennessee, United States.^[4][5]

She lived in Civil District 11, Grainger, Tennessee, United States in 1880^[6] and Civil District 11, Haywood, Tennessee, United States in 1900.^[7]

She died on 19 May 1909, in New Tazewell, Claiborne, Tennessee, United States, at the age 70, and is buried in Jesse Cemetery, New Tazewell, Claiborne County, Tennessee, USA.^[8]
